Dear Alfie and Sabine,
We have arrived home after 2 weeks in France with
good friends and plenty of food, wine and sunshine.
The South African part, however, was just marvellous
and it wasn't just the animals we saw, although
it was amazing to see such a variety in the space
of a few days.
Nothing was too much trouble for you, Alfie, and
you made it so much easier for both Denise and
me than I expected it would be. Denise (who is
a more recent convert to travel in Africa) can't
stop talking about it and I suspect that we will
have to do some serious saving so that we can
return. I really thought that this would be my
last safari, but after our experience with Epic,
that might not be the case.
Sabine, thank you very much for sorting out our
booking and making our preparation easier, and
Alfie, it was just magnificent what you did for
us in Kruger and in Cape Town and we are both
indebted to you. Hopefully we will travel with
you again.
