Moira’s comments:

Well worth the thirty hours of travel from New Zealand to participate in this tour – it was great to be able to be seated at a height that we could appreciate the wildlife as well as the vegetation and surroundings – am sure we saw more animals than you would from a lower vehicle. The tour was extremely well organized and planned – the routine for the day was clearly explained, usually the day before so that there were no hidden surprises. For someone with toilet issues it was great that Alfie knew when and where the various suitable toilet stops were – Impi – the truck was comfortable and had every conceivable piece of equipment hidden away – from catering goods to items required for personal cares. Alfie had a great understanding of what was required for people with disabilities – yet treated everyone as the individual that they are, affording them respect and dignity.
Information regarding the various animals, birds, and vegetation was readily available – from Alfie or his books – which were able to be borrowed.
Food was great – alternatives available for vegetarians and fussy eaters!!!!!!
The animals were amazing – particularly at the private game reserve – Tshukudu – where everyone was able to get up close and personal with a variety of wild animals.
Would love to come again – well worth every penny – busy trying to save to be able to have a repeat journey – a dream come true – which sounds clichéd but is fact.
